Fort Lauderdale
Broward County, comprised of 30 municipalities, has evolved into a
thriving business hub with more than 1.7 million residents, a gleaming
skyline, a major international airport and a record-setting seaport.
Located in the center of the South Florida tri-county region, Broward
County surpasses the national economic growth rate and offers a fertile
business environment for entrepreneurs and growth-oriented service,
distribution, manufacturing, retail and construction firms. The area
also attracts tourists and new residents because of its beautiful
beaches, inland waterways, golf courses and treasured Everglades, in
close proximity to a culturally diverse urban environment.
To respond to the business demands of regional clients, Greenberg
Traurig opened its downtown Fort Lauderdale office in Broward County in
1985 with three attorneys. Today, the office boasts a varied legal
practice with more than 50 attorneys who provide their clients with a
broad range of experience and community contacts.
